Two new Maker Packs landed on The Sims 4 Marketplace today, adding a combined 36 Build Mode items for kids' rooms and dining spaces. Together they run $7 (700 Moola), and both are available now on PC and Mac.
Cuddly Cryptids Kid's Bedroom by BrazenLotus ($5)
The larger of the two releases, Cuddly Cryptids Kid's Bedroom packs 26 items into a cryptid-themed bedroom set. Think rustic wood in warm and cool tones, flannel patterns, soft furs, and textured surfaces. The headline pieces are cuddly Bigfoot and Yeti plush toys, figurines, and a "Believe" poster that sell the mythical-creature vibe.
BrazenLotus designed the set around four mix-and-match directions:
- A warm-toned "Cozy Bigfoot Refuge" styled after a forest hideaway, heavy on natural wood and earthy colors.
- An "Alpine Yeti Den" that flips to cool blues and mountain-lodge textures.
- A "Non-Mythical Magic" arrangement proving the furniture holds up without any cryptid decor at all.
- Broad color-swatch compatibility across the entire set so you can blend pieces between themes.
That last point matters. If you like the wood furniture but your Sim household has zero interest in Bigfoot, the set still works as a cozy kid's room with warm, cabin-style pieces. The cryptid accessories are extras, not the backbone.
Yianna Set by Mechtasims ($2)
At 200 Moola, the Yianna Set is a smaller, more focused pack: 10 Build Mode items aimed at dining rooms and gathering spaces. Mechtasims describes it as furniture for hosting dinners or creating a quiet spot to sit with family, and the pieces scale from compact setups to grander layouts.
The main selling point here is swatch variety. Multiple color options across the 10 items give you enough combinations to fit the set into different room styles without it looking like a matching showroom display. At $2, the price-to-item ratio is straightforward, and the set fills a specific gap if you need dining furniture that reads as elegant rather than casual.
How these fit in the Marketplace lineup
The Marketplace has been picking up pace through September. Just yesterday, Syboulette's Humble Beginning pack brought 30 thrifted starter-apartment objects for $5. This week's additions push in different directions: one targeting a niche aesthetic for kids' rooms, the other rounding out a basic room type that builders tend to revisit often. Neither pack overlaps much with the other, so picking up both is a reasonable option if you build a lot of family homes.
Both packs are live now on The Sims 4 Marketplace and through the EA web store.
