Syboulette's Humble Beginning Maker Pack landed on The Sims 4 Marketplace today, adding 30 Build Mode objects designed around a scrappy first-apartment aesthetic. It costs $5 USD (500 Moola) and is available now for PC and Mac.

Introducing The Sims Maker Program and The Sims 4 Marketplace

What's in the pack

The set is all furniture and decor, no CAS items. Every piece leans into a lived-in, thrifted look: mismatched chairs, worn surfaces, and the kind of stuff your Sim might drag home from a sidewalk or buy from a suspiciously cheap listing. Each of the 30 items comes in either 15 color swatches or 6 wood tones, with both worn and clean variations mixed throughout.

Syboulette describes the collection as "edgy and thrifted at the same time," and the screenshots back that up. The color palette runs warm and slightly faded, and the wood options have visible grain and scuffing. If you build a lot of starter homes or rundown apartments, this fills a gap that base game furniture doesn't quite cover on its own.

Another day, another Maker Pack

This is the second Marketplace drop in as many days. Yesterday brought the Summer Trip Maker Pack, a $3 CAS set with vacation outfits. Humble Beginning shifts the focus to Build Mode and costs a couple of dollars more, but the item count is noticeably higher at 30 pieces versus Summer Trip's 11.

The Marketplace has been picking up pace through September, and these daily single-pack drops seem to be the current release pattern. Whether that holds or EA bundles future releases back into multi-pack days remains to be seen.

Who it's for

Builders who gravitate toward storytelling lots, budget starter builds, or anything with a worn-in college-apartment vibe will get the most out of this one. The swatch variety is generous for a $5 pack, and the worn/clean toggle on items adds flexibility if you want to mix polished and grungy pieces in the same room.

You can grab Humble Beginning from The Sims 4 Marketplace or through the in-game store.
