Two new Maker Packs hit The Sims 4 Marketplace today, bringing 34 Build Mode items between them for a combined $7 USD. Manicure Ritual ($3) by creator Bostyny adds salon-themed decor, while Cozy Cottage ($4) by Kerriganhouse leans into rustic, cottage-core furniture with a practical bent.
Both packs are available now through the in-game Marketplace and on EA's web store.
Manicure Ritual: 16 decorative items for $3
Bostyny's Manicure Ritual pack is built around the look and feel of a nail salon. The 16 items include small-scale clutter and furniture meant for building out a beauty corner or spa-adjacent space with clean lines and calming details.
One thing worth flagging: none of the objects connect to Spa Day gameplay. Everything here is decorative. If you were hoping for functional manicure stations or new spa interactions, this pack does not go there. It is atmosphere only, which puts it in the same category as most Maker Pack releases so far.
At 300 Moola ($3 USD), the price is in line with what the Marketplace has charged for similar-sized sets. Builders who like dressing up commercial lots or creating realistic salon interiors will get the most out of this one.
Cozy Cottage: 18 items with functional storage for $4
Kerriganhouse's Cozy Cottage is the bigger pack of the two, with 18 items that lean into a modern-rustic aesthetic. Think woven rugs, knitted blankets, upcycled furniture, and rich wood textures in soft, worn pastels.
Where this set stands out from the Manicure Ritual pack is functionality. The description specifically calls out new storage pieces, and the set is positioned as "family friendly and functional" rather than purely decorative. That makes it a more versatile addition for residential builds, especially if you are working on farmhouse or countryside lots.
The color palette sticks to soft earth tones and muted pastels, which should blend well with items from Cottage Living and similar cottage-core custom content. At 400 Moola ($4 USD), you are getting a slightly larger item count and a wider range of use cases compared to Manicure Ritual.
How these fit into the Marketplace lineup
Maker Packs have been arriving at a steady clip this summer. In July, the Marketplace picked up three new packs including a free Cozy Study Corner set and the $4 Fresh Picked Kitchen, and just yesterday EA released Mean Girls and Clueless capsule kits at $3.99 each. Today's two packs are strictly Build Mode additions with no CAS items.
If you are only going to pick up one, Cozy Cottage is the safer grab for general builders thanks to its larger item count and functional pieces. Manicure Ritual is more niche but could be exactly what you need if you are building out a spa, salon, or commercial beauty lot.
Both packs require The Sims 4 base game and an EA account.
