Two more Maker Packs landed on The Sims 4 Marketplace today, bringing a combined 21 Build Mode items across two very different aesthetics. One leans hard into early-2000s pop culture; the other keeps things quiet with neutral-toned desk clutter for your studious Sims.
Both packs are available now through the in-game Marketplace or the EA online store. They join a growing roster of Maker Packs that have been arriving on the storefront throughout 2026, and come just days after EA sent out a closed survey exploring Maker-created gameplay content like traits, careers, and NPCs.
Y2K Nostalgia Collection by AlexCroft
This 11-item set is all about the loud, saturated style of the early 2000s. The pack includes boxy backpacks, portable CD players, VHS tapes, brightly colored computers, and wall posters featuring your Sims' favorite pop idols. It is pitched at teen and university-age Sims, and the color swatches lean into the bold, high-saturation palette that defined Y2K-era fashion and decor.
If you have been looking for objects to furnish a nostalgic teen bedroom or a retro dorm room, this is a focused set for that purpose. It costs 300 Moola ($3 USD) and is available on the EA Marketplace page for Y2K Nostalgia Collection.
Lofi Study by Kerriganhouse
On the opposite end of the energy spectrum, Kerriganhouse's 10-item Lofi Study pack is a collection of desk clutter and dormitory accessories built around a neutral color palette. Think study staples, decorative gadgets, and (yes) discount ramen. The items are described as "mature and modern," designed to slot into any workspace without clashing.
This one is a good fit if you tend to furnish university housing or home offices and want small-scale detail objects rather than statement furniture. It runs 200 Moola ($2 USD), and you can pick it up from the EA Marketplace page for Lofi Study.
What you are getting for the price
Neither pack is expensive by Maker Pack standards. At $3 and $2 respectively, the item-per-dollar ratio is reasonable: roughly $0.27 per item for the Y2K set and $0.20 per item for the study pack. All 21 items are Build Mode objects, so there are no Create-a-Sim pieces in either collection.
The packs work best as niche additions. The Y2K collection fills a specific visual gap if your game lacks early-2000s clutter, and the Lofi Study set is a quiet workhorse for anyone who builds student housing or office spaces regularly. Neither pack tries to do too much, which, for $5 combined, is probably the right call.
