What's in Create-a-Sim

Two new hairstyles, the Quiff Side Part and Half Down Waves, are available for both Adult and Elder Sims.

The bigger addition is four brand-new clothing items: a Sweater (12 swatches), a Lace Dress (8 swatches), a Midi Skirt with Pockets (10 swatches), and a Sleeveless Blouse (11 swatches). That is a lot of color variety for free base game content.

On top of those, five existing Elder clothing pieces got new recolors. Grandma's Dress picked up 9 swatches, Grandpa's High Jacket got 13, the Long Cardigan now has 21, the Open Cardigan has 5, and Loose Pants have 10. Four pre-made styled looks round out the CAS side, giving you quick outfit combos using the new pieces.

Build/Buy and the gallery

Eleven new Build/Buy objects arrived with this patch. Sims Community describes them as suited for "a warm, traditional living space," and they span both Build Mode and Buy Mode categories. A new styled room bundles these objects into a ready-made layout you can drop straight into a lot.

Four new Elder Sims are also available on the gallery: Raven Balalrd, Elena Marquez, Daniel Kwon, and Malik Nasir. Each is styled with the new CAS content, so they double as a quick preview of how the items look in practice.

Who this is for

Elder Sims have been one of the thinnest life stages for CAS variety since launch, so any free additions here are welcome. The clothing and recolors lean toward casual, layered styles rather than formal wear, which fills a gap that modders have been patching for years. The Build/Buy objects seem aimed at cozy, lived-in interiors rather than modern or minimalist builds.

The patch is live now on PC, Mac, Xbox, and PlayStation. For the full breakdown of the 150-plus bug fixes, Dine Out restaurant overhaul, and other system changes that shipped alongside this content, check our complete patch coverage.
