InZOI's v0.11.0 patch dropped today for PC and Mac, and despite Krafton calling it a "Mini" update, it packs Lua scripting for mods, over 230 new Build Mode objects and effects, a reworked autonomy system, and a long list of simulation fixes. Here is everything that changed.
Lua scripting and LLM-powered modding
The headline addition for mod creators is Lua script support, built directly into the ModKit's new Lua script editor. Alongside that, filter mods let creators build custom graphics filters that players can select in-game.
More unusual is the LLM integration. Krafton has wired up an in-game MCP (Model Context Protocol) that lets modders write Lua scripts with help from a connected large language model. New CLI commands for adjusting the maximum number of cars and Zois in a city can be typed out manually or requested in plain language through the MCP, so you could type something like "Make the maximum number of Zois in the city to 10" and the system handles the rest.
The ModKit also picked up a headwear wizard, improved vehicle wizard UX with faster mesh import speeds, and a step-by-step wizard for the build category that previously only existed for vehicles. Mod management in general got safer: toggling mods on and off, setting load order, and other file operations have been reworked to reduce the risk of file corruption.
Create a Zoi and new items
This patch adds 5 hairstyles, 6 facial hair options (3 mustaches, 3 beards), 6 makeup items, 6 themed outfit pieces, 13 regular outfit pieces, and 5 masks.
Beyond the wardrobe, Create a Zoi now lets you set preferences for your Zoi and view or adjust household relationships and relationship levels before you start playing. Outfit presets have been refreshed and new poses are available.
Build mode: 237 new objects, free placement, and autonomy plans
The biggest number in these notes is the 237 new items for Build Mode: 106 interactive objects, 7 standard build objects, 124 FX items (accessible under the WIP category after entering the ShowUserDevCategory cheat), and 2 tile textures.
Builders also get some long-requested tools. Free positioning and free scaling of objects is now possible through the EnableFreeEditMode (True/False) cheat. Walls can be edited on basement floors. Door permissions can be set independently for each household member, and public properties can have autonomy plans assigned, where you pick preferred activities for individual Zois and set permissions on specific furniture.
Gameplay and business management
Running a business got smoother. Applying the premium restaurant template now auto-assigns employees to restaurant roles and fills gaps with new hires. You can reset your current business template without selling and repurchasing. When assigning roles, an employee's relevant expertise shows up front, and you can swap one employee for another without having to fire anyone first.
Elsewhere, cheat entry now has auto-complete, and first-person view works while surfing and swimming underwater. There is also a limited-time Dinkum x InZOI crossover bundle on Steam that adds a Dinkum T-shirt and a "Play Dinkum" PC interaction.
Simulation: smarter Zois, better autonomy
Autonomy received a broad pass. Zois now visit other households on their own and pick contextually appropriate activities when they get there. If an uninvited visitor is not welcome, the homeowner may ask them to leave. Zois greet acquaintances when they cross paths, start conversations based on their relationships and current emotions, and choose the nearest available object when duplicates exist.
Social events now wait for all participants to arrive before starting. Guests move to their designated spots instead of clustering at the entrance, and party events progress faster. Zois in important or player-organized events will not leave early, and the controlling Zoi can help put out fires during events.
Holding hands got a detailed overhaul: the front Zoi waits if their partner falls behind, hand height adjusts based on distance, umbrellas are put away, and the animation persists through save loads. Krafton notes that known issues remain when using the interaction at game speeds above 1x.
A new first aid kit Build Mode item lets Zois cure diseases, and skill experience gains now show as an icon above the Zoi's head.
Unique NPC Zois were also updated with new household descriptions, fitting appearances, traits, skills, and ambitions. Relationship logs and milestones have more detail. These changes fully apply only to new save files; loading an existing save shows updated photos and descriptions but not the deeper trait and appearance rework.
Bug fixes
Krafton addressed 17 bugs across gameplay, build mode, and UI. Highlights include: Zois no longer shower while wearing masks, the Woohoo interaction has its sound effect back, Smart Zoi-enabled characters now eat properly when hungry, a married Zoi who moved in with their spouse will return to the shared household autonomously, and the Ghost quest no longer breaks due to the removed Lumiere Lobby piano. On the build side, the misplaced cooking counter at the Gunjung Fine Dining Restaurant has been corrected. Mac users will no longer see a stray "Mods" item in the ESC menu, and lighting differences between Photo Mode and Play Mode have been resolved.
The update is available now on Steam (PC and Mac). If automatic updates are off, check your game library manually. InZOI remains in Early Access on PC while the PS5 version has been pushed to the first half of 2027.
